This 19-day East Africa Seychelles safari is our most complete route. It covers every major wildlife setting in three countries, and then it ends with a slow, three-island tour of Seychelles. You trek gorillas in Uganda, follow the Great Migration in Kenya, visit the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, and finish on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.

This trip suits milestone celebrations, multi-generational families and anyone who wants East Africa and the Indian Ocean in a single journey. It gives you variety without repeating itself. First you walk in forest, then you drive across open plains, and finally you rest on the beach.
The order is deliberate. The gorilla trek comes first, while you are fresh. Then the Mara and Serengeti follow the timing of the migration's river crossings. The Ngorongoro Crater is the most reliable Big Five day of the trip, and after it the pace slows right down.

Your East Africa Seychelles safari begins in Entebbe. You arrive and take a light aircraft to the Kihihi airstrip, then drive into the Bwindi region. On the second day, you go gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Groups are limited to eight guests, and rangers brief you before you set off. Porters are available if you want help on the trail.
On the third day, you join a Batwa cultural walk with Batwa elders. After that, you drive about two and a half hours to the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The next day, you take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi sector.
On day five, you connect via Nairobi's Wilson Airport and fly by light aircraft into the Maasai Mara. You stay three nights at Angama Mara on the Oloololo Escarpment.
Next, you spend a full day chasing a Great Migration river crossing. Crossings depend on the herds and the season, so we choose your dates with care and confirm what to expect in your quote. On the following day, you can explore a private conservancy on the edge of the Mara, with off-road and night drives and an optional balloon safari.
Then you cross into Tanzania. You transfer by road to the border for clearance, and then continue to the central Serengeti. You spend a full day in the Seronera Valley with a focus on big cat tracking.
On the next day, you drive towards Ngorongoro and stop at Oldupai Gorge on the way. You stay on the crater rim at andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The following day is a full-day Ngorongoro Crater safari, with a descent onto the crater floor. It is often the best day for seeing a wide range of animals in one place.
The final stage of the East Africa Seychelles safari begins on day twelve, when you fly to Mahé with connecting flights, and we confirm the exact routing in your quote. You stay two nights at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas. You can relax on Beau Vallon beach and explore Victoria market and its landmarks.
Next, you take a light aircraft of about 15 minutes to Praslin. You stay five nights at Constance Lemuria. On Praslin, you take a guided walk in the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO rainforest, and then spend the afternoon at Anse Lazio.
A La Digue day trip comes next. You cross by ferry in about 30 minutes, then travel by bicycle or ox-cart to Anse Source d'Argent. The following day, a boat takes you to Curieuse Island Marine National Park to see tortoises and mangroves, and to snorkel. Your last full day is free. You can add golf, a spa visit, a sunset cruise or snorkelling at Anse Georgette.

Touching down at Kihihi airstrip, a short drive through terraced hillsides, roadside banana plantations and small trading villages carries you into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest region — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, at over 25,000 years old, among the most biodiverse forests left on the continent. This is the day the whole itinerary is built around.
