Most guests fly in: from Entebbe the flight takes about one hour. The operator also lists a 15-minute flight from Volcanoes Mount Gahinga Lodge near Kisoro, and a 15-minute flight from Kyambura Gorge Lodge near Kasese. By road the operator quotes about six hours from Kasese through Queen Elizabeth National Park. We can build the road or flight option that fits your route, see our Uganda itineraries.
There are ten bandas in total: eight standard rooms (six doubles and two twins) and two deluxe bandas with double beds. Each has an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water and a private terrace with forest views.
Rooms have power sockets, charging facilities and hair dryers. There is no air conditioning, which is normal at this altitude. Daytime temperatures run about 15 to 27 degrees C and nights about 7 to 17 degrees C, so pack warm layers for the evenings.
